GROW IN GROUPS
WHERE TO START
Wherever you are in life, you matter and you have a purpose. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be. Your journey has a next step and we'll help you find it. It could start with serving, finding God's vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.
You don't have to take the next step alone. With a strong community of friends, you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you. Find a small group, that might be in a Life Group or within one of our ministries. We have several ministries listed under the CONNECT tab. Take a look and see what might be the best fit for you and your family.
If you aren't quite sure where to start we'd love to give you a hand. Email Pastor John at john@wvcch.org and he will gladly contact you to answer any of your questions.
ADULT LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. Life Groups usually meet once a week and most of our Life Groups meet on our campus. Every Life Group is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or something chosen by its leader. Two things you’ll find in every Life Group, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.
It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a Life Group and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up. Keep in mind that there’s no such thing as a perfect Life Group because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that a group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.
